Race/Species Name: Demons
Species Abilities: When injured, a Demon heals far more rapidly than a human. For example, when somebody has to yank out one of Demon's fangs, it is mentioned that Demons would be able to grow a replacement canine in one day. Combined with their considerable stamina, they can recover from critical, non-dismembering injuries (such as being stabbed in the chest with a sword and having a hole punched through their gut) with no trace of a scar after several hours.

The senses of Demons are nonetheless developed far beyond those of any ordinary human or animal. They are shown to be able to hear what people are whispering from great distances similar to that of Namekians. Likewise, their sense of smell is shown to be extremely sensitive - they can smell hints of blood from many kilometers away and can detect the presence of people by smell long before they can be seen.

Species History: Demons are evil creatures who enjoy using their power to torment, torture and/or kill those who are weaker than themselves. In the movies, there is two other magic-created demons: Janemba who appears in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and Hirudegarn in Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon. An English cognate would need be a word that would cover elves, dwarves, succubi, nymphs, etc. As no such word exists, "demon" is commonly used, as it conveys both the supernatural element and ability to possess that Demons seem to commonly have.

Description: Once a Demon reaches a certain level of power; their Demonic blood overloads their system and drives them into fits of feral rage. When transformed, the Demon's sclera turn deep red, their irises become blue slits with white pupils; jagged purple stripes appear on the sides of their face, and they suddenly develop fangs and claws that lengthen at will. In this form, Demons are capable of utilizing their full physical strength, which is more than enough to destroy an opponent with a single swipe of their claws. With every subsequent overload, this form's intelligence diminishes and it becomes easier to trigger and harder for the user to revert to normal. Therefore, the only drawback of this ability is a constant flow of energy being brought to the user.
